Seriously though lots of stuff in my life right now but the comic is not forgotten, I honestly just haven't had the time in front of my computer to get it out to you but a lot of comics are drawn and written. Once January rolls around ther should be a lot more time to get back to regular updates.

"Fuck guy," today happens to be the birthday of one of the inspirations behind the original comic. He no longer has a direct character in the Safety-Words universe but I am sure he will swing by eventually in joke if not visual form. So Happy Birthday Steve.

Originally the comic was going to be called Dorito-Head Comics and was basically a very crazy version of life as an engineering student. Each character in the comic was an actual character in real life. when I was writing it I discovered that writing comic versions of actual events was easy I felt uncomfortable writing what these people whould say in a situation that i made up. As a result some of the main characters are the exact same visually as the original cast but with different names and artificial personalities. These people know who they are and some of the stories and parts of some characters remain unchanged but I think everyone is more comfortable with this situation. The bonus comics however will ocasionally feature some of the original dorito-head comics and a some of the story-lines that I couldn't adapt to the Safety-Words universe.
